I am looking at mobile web frameworks, and am wondering what the bare minimum one would like to see from the synapse database. So, a bit like the physician portal but cut down for use on a phone. No adding of consults etc.
Would. be. Awesome. This would be a smartphone (android or iphone) app that would connect to the firebird DB as a client ?
Actually, it'll be nice if some short notes can be added, for example, documents for phone calls, rx, etc. I saw physicians carrying ipad rounding in the hospital. A lot can be done on an android based tablet too. With 10' screen, you can probably utilize most features of an EHR.
