Previously a consult with more than 4000 characters would crash the client ... leaving 'retrieving consultation' on the screen. This was due to the packet length limit in the Synapse's tcp scheme. A new beta client and beta server have been released that uses compression to increase that limit to about 8000 characters. A warning now pops up if that limit is exceeded. We will investigate if we can break the 8000 character limit easily or not.
Fixed - Re: Nasty bug in saving a consult This has now been fixed. The limit on the number of characters in a consult has been removed.
